Getting from CR to Poly/WL

We're staying at the Contemporary 1 night, the night before Thanksgiving, before heading down to Southern Florida. I need to give my kids a Disney fix. We have a trip planned for next May and planning to stay at the Poly but I want to check out the Contemporary and WL because I am thinking about switching. So, my question is, we land at 2:30pm (Wed before Thanksgiving - only the busiest travel day). We will have to get bags and rental and get to the CR. Check-in - maybe it is 4:30 by then. I'm thinking we'll hop on the monorail and go to Poly. Maybe have dinner at Ohana's and wander around. What's the best way to get from Poly to WL? Is there a boat from the CR to WL? I have one evening to check out those resorts and make it fun for a 2 & 4 year old!

We're staying CR Tower and hopefully will get an MK view for the fireworks. Anyone know what time that will be in Nov?

There's a boat dock in back of the CR. You'll find a boat there that takes you to the WL.

Going between CR & WL is very easy!

Just take the Blue launch. It goes CR/WL/FW (any order). It runs from 7 am - 10 pm. The ride from CR to WL is maybe 5 minutes.

Also, check out FW while you are there! Your kids will love the little farm animals. You can also take them on a short pony ride. ($3, closed toe shoe required) You might try a meal at Trails End. It's a wonderful, inexpensive buffet. Great kids food, pizza, mac & cheese.

To get from the Poly to WL. Just walk to the TTC and take the WL bus. The ride is maybe 2-3 minutes.

Yes. There are 2 launches, blue and green. The green goes WL/FW/MK (any order).
