Sorry for starting another thread, but as we usually drive i'm clueless on flying to DLP.

How do you all get from CDG to DLP?

How long does it take and how much do you pay for the different options?

TIA everyone :goodvibes

As there's five of us, it's always been cost effective to get a private shuttle. This is also the easiest option especially if you've got young children, pushchairs and lots of luggage.

The other options are the TGV - fast train which takes approx 10 minutes - and the VEA bus which (I believe) takes about an hour.

There's links to all the above in The Very Useful Info sticky. We've used BS/RS Transports shuttles in the past (who also do a cheaper, shared service) and used Ezyshuttle :thumbsup2 following recommendations on here last week. We flew from Orly which is a bit further than CDG - I can't remember offhand what Ezyshuttle charged us but think it was €80 one way. Their prices are on their website though as are BS/RS Transports. Where will you fly from - Southampton or Bristol?

We're planning on getting the ezyshuttle in July. Quoted us €144 return door to door for a private shuttle for the four of us (2adults, 2kids) Hope this helps :)

We used the TGV last week and it was brilliant! :goodvibes Having said that, there were just the four of us, one suitcase and a folded up buggy (in a carry bag). I can see why people recommend private transfers if there are more of you/heaps of luggage/very young kids.

Hope this helps!

Used TGV in March (adults - €100 return) which was very handy but would be a killer with heavy suitcases or buggies.
I would also highly recommend a shared shuttle with RS transports (havent had to share it yet!) which is currently around €95 return (2ad and 2 kids) - bargain! Very professional and friendly (and speedy!). Have booked them for November already.

As a general rule of thumb, a private shuttle is the quickest/easiest way to get to your hotel. I've used RS/BS transports & Ezyshuttle and would recommend both. They cost around 60-70E each way. You book through their websites and pay the driver on the day.

It takes about 40mins to get to your hotel. Whilst I appreciate that the TGV is a shorter journey, it almost always takes longer by the time you've got yourself to the train station, waited for the train and then transferred from the disney train station to your hotel.

I've done all 4 of the main ways to get to Disney (RER, TGV, VEA & private shuttle) and would go for the private shuttle every time.

After a bad experience with VEA in 2006 (we were in DLH and by the time it had stopped at all the other hotels we had been on there for a good couple of hours and were all feeling a little green) last year we opted for a private shuttle and it was a dream in comparison! They charged the same price as VEA and got us to DLH in 35 minutes, we didn't hesitate to book again for the journey back to CDG.

Sorry that was meant to be €100 for 2 adults on the TGV. I agree with Happy Tappy, by the time the TGV came and we got off at MLV we would have been there by VEA or shared shuttle.

I think Ezyshuttle is about €140 for 2ad and 2ch. I decided, taking into account RS Transports quality service to save the €45 and go with them instead of Ezyshuttle but I see so many people who cant fault Ezyshuttles service.

Hope this helps Jemma!

Thanks for taking the time to reply everyone! :goodvibes

We have spent a few days looking into flights and unfortunately could find none that fitted with our tight schedule, so DH is delighted that we will now be driving and using the tunnel.....he wasn't too impressed at the thought of not getting to do a road trip! :rotfl2:
