Getting from BCV to MK

It seems that BCV is far from the bus stop. Is there an easier way to get to the MK?

BCV isn't very far from the bus stop really. No farther than BWV is to its bus stop or OKW to some of its stops. The bus will be the quickest route to MK by far. Some like to walk through EPCOT and take the monorail to MK, but I don't think it's to save time.

The bus is the best option. You can exit from the side of the villas by the airport check in station and cut straight to the bus stop.

If you take the option of walking through Epcot to do the monorail to MK, then you have to wait until Epcot opens to do that. Also some forget that if you take the monorail back to Epcot and the park is closed you cannot walk back through the park to BCV nor is there a bus that goes from the front of Epcot back to BCV. Best to take the bus direct from BCV to MK and back at night. Just keep reminding yourself that at least you'll be able to walk to Epcot and DHS while staying there at BCV.

Just got back from WDW about 3 hours ago. They are fixing/rehabbing the BC bus stop right now. The temporary bus stop is in the parking lot right next to the villas. Don't know how long the construction will be or when your trip is.

You could always take a cab, but they only drop you off at the Ticket and Transportation Center and not directly at the MK.

That's gotta be pretty rare. Pay $20 for what, having to take an extra step at the TTC instead of walking a bit farther at the hotel.

Its about .11 miles from the BCV pool (kind of a central BCV spot) to the bus stop. The closest bus drop off at MK to the MK entrance is almost exactly the same, and the furthest MK drop off is about twice that far. From the MK entrance to the end of mainstreet is also about .11, and the castle about .11 more. Just for a visual idea of how far (or close) it is.

Why are people complaining about it then? That sounds more than reasonable.

It doesn't even seem .11 miles to me. From the pool, walk on the sidewalk that heads past the BBQ grill and cross the drive. If you're inside the building, just walk down the little hall with the lowest room numbers and exit the stairwell door there...not out by the Ariel statue.

BCV and the BC share the same bustop to MK and depending where your room is, some BCV rooms are closer to the bustop than the BC rooms. Realize that the BC rooms closest to Epcot are further to the bus stop than many BCV rooms.
But here lies the glory of BCV and BC...the proximity to Epcot and Studios and all the fun that lies in between plus a reasonable bus ride to MK and AK.

you must be looking at a map? It really isn't far. The bus us easily that best way to get to magic kingdom. The walk to the bus stop is minimal compared to what you'll do in the parks. a disney vacation requires A LOT of walking!

Yes, I am looking at a map. It must be closer than it appears. I got nervous when I heard people telling me the rooms at BCV had a view of the utility street to Epcot. I definitely walk more than .11 mile a day in the parks! lol I wore the pedometer once and I broke 10k steps on my Epcot day!Thanks for the info!

It's not far at all.....just don't walk into the BC to get to it.

The far end of BCV faces Epcot Resorts Blvd, which is a 2 lane road that goes past the Swan, Dolphin, Yacht Club, Beach Club, Boardwalk. There is both vehicle & bus traffic. That is only a small percentage of the rooms.
