Getting from All Stars to French Quarter

My DD (25) and I are planning a long weekend mom/daughter trip in September for MNSSHP. We booked POFQ for Saturday, checking out Tuesday morning. I was just able to get an incredible rate but we have to fly out late Friday night. We will be getting into Orlando at 12:05 a.m. I really don't want to spend $220 for a night that we won't be checking in until most likely 1:30 in the morning, however we also don't want to spend time cabbing to different places to save extra money since we will only be there 3 full days. So our compromise is to take ME to All Star Sports Friday night and Saturday morning switch to POFQ. My problem is how to get to POFQ from All Star Sports. I don't think hopping the bus to DS with luggage is the best route and then getting on the boat with luggage. Any suggestions? I guess we could just check in to POFQ on Friday night, but that to me is a bit expensive just to sleep a few hours. Thanks!

Your other options would be utilizing Uber, or asking Bell Services at All Star Sports to transfer your luggage.

I think there's also a hotel at MCO, and then utilize ME in the morning.

I would personally stay at the All Stars and have bell services transfer your luggage so you can head right to the parks when you wake up rather than check out at a non-Disney resort, have to get from that hotel back to MCO, then wait for the DME bus to take you to POFQ then head to the park from there. Also with the room only discount, it'll likely be cheaper to stay at All Stars too. Another option is to take uber or a cab with your luggage from All Stars to POFQ.
