Getting free included ticket for premium annual pass holder

I am new to having a premium annual pass, what is the procedure to getting the free HHN ticket that's included? is it only certain nights? can you already be in the park that day and just go to a holding area and wait? any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

The free hhn ticket is not given for Friday or Saturday

Good info I was planning on a Wednesday, do I just show up that day and use annual pass or do I need to do it in advance?
