Oh gosh...it's starting to hit me that I'm really leaving home for good soon...mom just took my sister back to school at Ole Miss and suddenly I'm sitting here crying! I'll see her for maybe one day during my spring break, and then she'll be coming up to UTK for my graduation in May...but after that I don't know when I'll see her again. (we want to go visit friends and family in CA but I dunno when or if that'll be able to happen.) I love Orlando, and I can't wait to move there, but I'm going to miss my family and all my stuff in my bedroom so much! I'm scared...

{{{{HUGS}}}} We all go through times like this. My youngest is getting married in July. I am nervous about being an empty nester. I think you will do beautifully out on your own. Your parents did a wonderful job raising you! DD and I are planning on coming up to visit with you sometime before you graduate. I already know that you are a great person so I am looking forward to it. {{{{HUGS}}} again!

Hugs to you AB..I know firsthand how tough this is.

Maybe there will be some very special people in Otown who can help you make the transition :) Who knows...someone may be moving there for the first time themselves :) and you guys can bond and you'll forget about ever being nervous about moving out :) Might be an average Joe, might be the best buddy of your dreams..who knows!

Well as a mom, I know it must take a lot of growing up to get up an move away. My son told me when he left for college, he’d never come back home and I believe him. I was sad and cried for weeks. He just left after Christmas break and I cried for hours after.

He’s just a plane ride away. At least if your in Disney Mom and the family can visit. Better being there than some place remote and lonely.

You’ll be fine. Don’t worry about it until the time comes.

Gold Luck on your final term!

I would be scared to, AB, but it will be alright. {{{HUGS}}} sweetie, it's all part of growing up.

It's a big step, many of us have taken it, so we know. You'll see, it gets easier as time goes by. I wish you the best. :D

Angie, I know that feeling quite well. It is scary to do all that, especially moving away. {{{hugs}}}

Good Luck and don't worry AngieBelle. My sense is that people who live in Orlando don't have any shortage of visitors.;)
