Getting DVC number after close

My DVC resale closed this week. I used Resales DVC if that matters. It looks like from the email it could take up to 21 days from close to get my member number (14 for Disney to record the sale and 7 to get the number). This didn't seem to align with the Timeshare Store timeline post, looked like normally more like 13 days. I am hoping to book a last minute trip in about two months (realize I will probably have SSR and OKW as my only choices). Just curious if I should expect to wait the full 21 days.

Watch the comptroller's website. Once it shows there, wait 7-9 days and begin calling member services.

thank you! It appears the sellers have multiple identical contracts so I'm hoping something comes up under our (unique) last name soon.

Following..sent closing paperwork Monday 3/17 and would like to book a trip for the end of May!!

We showed up on the Comptrollers site on Monday, 13 days after closing. Still waiting for our member number, but we decided to go to the beach vs Disney this year anyway so we will just be banking our 2014 points and I'm no longer stressing over it. But I will keep you guys updated!

Edited: It looks like it actually showed up on the Comptroller site 9 days after it was sent for closing (based on the rec date). I guess I wasn't checking frequently!

We got our DVC letter on Monday. So it took over two weeks from the Comptroller site to getting a letter from Disney (we weren't in a hurry to book anything so we didn't call in advance).

Recorded by comptroller - March 12
Letter from Disney - March 27

So a little over the estimated 21 days.
