getting discounts at DL hotels

As a 3 time a year WDWer, it's quite a shock to see the prices for the various DL hotels. Is there anyway at all to get a discount? When is peak season and off season? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

There are often AAA discounts available if you are a AAA member. Sometimes there are Disney Club promotions, and DL Annual Passholders have special promotinal rates as well. You best bet is to go through a travel agency that specializes in Disney Properties (of course, I recommend Dreams Unlimited because it was formed and staffed by people from these boards. ) and have them check into any special rates that might be available for your travel dates. Also, you can call the Disneyland reservations office yourself and check for discount rates... just be aware that travel agents may have other contracted rates that are not available through the regular reservations number.
