getting CRT breakfasrt due to cancelations???????

I just wanted to know if anyone has had success in getting CTR breakfast shortly before their trip due to cancelations? I was told I would have a better chance if I wait and call just days before I came and even when I am there due to people canceling at the last minute. has anyone done this and been successful? Do you have anything reserved at all? i do curently have luch booked, but really want to do the breakfast. We have not been to the CRT before, so maybe lunch is just as good. When are you going? We will be there 9/2-9/8. Hopefully we will hear so success storys. Chris

PM me. I have lunch on 9/21 that we are not going to use. I'm not sure how we do it but if you can figure out how to get it off my credit card and on to yours, you can have it. Res is at 12:20 for 4.

It might be a pain to you, but call and ask every day. I did this last year over spring break. Also, can you change your day? I was able to get a ressie for a different day than I initially wanted. Good Luck!

I'll be there from 9/19 - 9/29 & I've been getting told that the castle is booked solid every meal! I've been caling twice a week for about a month now & no luck. I just threw in the towel & made an ADR for Princess Storybook lunch in Norway this morning (they're booked solid for breakfast as well). I'm just nervous if I'll like the food here. Either way, my daughter has her heart set on meeting the princesses, so this should make her very happy. She's only 3 but I wish she would have told me this at the 180 day mark when I asked her!

You're going the same week that I'm going!

I'm gonna try to get a breakfast there for one day that week... Not picky on which day from Wed-Sat.

I went on a last minute vacation to WDW from 5/26/07 - 6/08/07. (I made a reservation for the Princess Storybook Breakfast on 4/25/07, then I planned my vacation around that. ) I was kinda bummed that I called numerous times to try to get CRT reservations, but never succeeded. Then one morning, it happened. It was exactly two weeks before we were going to leave for our vacation. I called just for the heck of it, and what do you know? They had a table available for 3! Granted, my husband and son were not able to go, but the breakfast was mainly for my princess daughter (4). I debated on cancelling the PSB, but decided to keep it since Belle is my daughter's favorite princess, and it was pretty much a guarantee that Belle would be there in her yellow gown.

My daughter loved both breakfasts (well, she didn't eat much, but she loved getting to meet all the princesses.) By the way, at PSB, we had Belle in her yellow gown (entrance only), Princess Aurora, Jasmine, Snow White, and Mulan; at CRT, we had Cinderella (entrance only), Belle (peasant dress), Jasmine, Snow White, and Fairy Godmother.

Don't limit yourself to breakfast for cancellations and that should help. We really enjoy lunch so try for lunch as well.

I'm sure you will find something if you keep calling. I had a breakfast and a lunch scheduled, and canceled them both. Not for your week though. But I am sure there are people that the closer they get they don't figure it is worth two table service credits on DDP.
