Arrive the 23rd. At Last min. I Signed up family of 5 for MNSSHP ON SUNDAY TH 25TH.
(I had signed up for early morning magic on su day but have canceled it thinking mnsshp would be better for about the same price. ? Never did either )
I have hoopDeeDoo on that same sunday at 4pm.
I understand i can enter MK at 4pm with party starting at 7pm. ( if not for hoop )
Hoop is 2 hours, gets out at 6pm should be at MK by the 7pm start time???. 7 - midnight = 5 hours.
If not for hoopdeedoo, I get 2 more hours at MK. 4pm - midnight. ( 7 hrs is a long night, have 5 adults and 6yr old )
By not using a park ticket I now have a ticket to visit park on last day of trip. ( plane leaves at 7:30 on last day )
( mnsshp includes addmission , saving me a regular ticket? )

Im thinking i could move hoop to wed. Night at 4pm. This would also be a late night at mk WITH EXTENDED NIGHT HOURS.

Both options would be a sleep late day before heading to park, hopefully the 6 year old will take a good nap.?

Ive had these hoop tickets for a long time which I believe gives you better cat1 seating, middle of floor?
I just booked wed night hoop so i guess seating would be along the edge os cat1 seating?

So, does hoop cutting into early arrival on the mnsshp night make that much difference?
How crowded is MK on mnsshp, im sure closer to halloween would be busier? Will ride lines be long ? No fastpasses.
When do you think i would get into MK after a 4pm hoopdeedoo show?

Do i do hoop and mnsshp on the same day or split them up.?

Hope this makes sense, phone is to small for typing... lol

Thanks , bunk

You should get to MK by 7. It depends on how crowded the wait is for the boat. Try to exit the show asap and head straight for the boat dock.

The party will be crowded. Just like a crowded day at the parks. We've done the Christmas party. Lines are long. I would expect lines to see rare characters will be very long ( if that's your thing).

Get some FP if you can. If recommend going on the E-ticket rides during the parade. Most people watch the parade so lines are shorter.

I'd split up HDDR and the party if it was me. That's a lot of stimulation for a 6 year old, but every kid is different.

Have fun!

You can't get FP+ during a party.

I would do HDDR on the non-party night. The show is about 2 hours long, so you will most likely be heading into MK by 6:45/7:00 pm. We went to MNSSHP on the first night this year and the lines for 7DMT and trick or treating remained long throughout the entire party. Yes, you can ride rides during the parade, but, why pay $$ for the party if you aren't going to see the parade and fireworks? That's my opinion anyway. They do start doing some "party" things at 4 pm - you can pick up your special Sorcerer's card, get pumpkin ice cream at Plaza, etc. and if you want to meet any of the special characters, you really have to be there before 7 pm as the lines start building even before the show starts.

I have hoopDeeDoo on that same sunday at 4pm.

Nope. I would not do those on the same night.

Thanks for the response, How would you compare early morning entry on Sunday as an alternative to MNSSHP?
We had considered doing that, 1 hour early entry and breakfast buffet, about the same price as MNSSHP..
Are the " non E ticket " ride lines shorter. I was a thinking it would be less crowded than a regular EMH late night ??? ( such as the following wed. night )

Bunk

EMM only gives you 7DMT, Peter Pan, and Pooh, along with breakfast. So if you want to ride those rides over and over, do that.

If you want to see special fireworks, special parade, special characters, and trick or treat, do the party.

I would do Hoop Dee Doo on the night with EMH, so you aren't rushing to get back for something you paid for and are missing, but its just bonus....

I would definitely split them up! I personally do not think you would get the full value from either event if you did them on the same night.

I like to use the Hoop-Dee-Doo to break up a busy week or end on a relaxing note with my trips. Doing it with MK EMH seems like the best option. You will still be able to book FP+ afterward and enjoy the extra time.

we went with MNSSHP and were disapointed. sold out and very crowded. we all wished we went with the early morning...

Oh well, live and learn. Final conclusion for me is to NOT schedule extra activities... would prefer to wing it and not have to plan around things.
Hoop Dee Dooo would be the exception, Its bad enough having to plan around fast passes, Had A great week with all my girls....
