Getting Character Autographs

Hi,

We decided to add some Universal / IOA days to our Disney trip this August. DS loves meeting favorite characters and getting autographs..so my question...do they sell autograph books at Universal like at Disney? He would like his Universal autographs to not be in his Disney books. And I am assuming the M&G process at Universal is similar to that at Disney. Anything I need to be aware of? Any Universal characters the don't give autographs? He's especially interested in the Simpsons characters.

I've not looked for autograph books so can't help you there. As far as M&G's go, some characters have organized meet and greet areas and some of them are more wandering. Similar to Disney, some of the characters physically can't sign autograph books. Off the top of my head, Transformers, Minions and I think Spongebob. I don't know if they have stamps for autograph books or not.
