As I am making my ADR's I was trying to pick restaurants that are actually in the Parks or on the Monarail if I am planning the day at MK. I feel that I am really limiting myself to only about 2/3 of the restaurants that I really want.

How hard is it to get from your resort (staying at POP) to WCC at WL? We will have DS2 and DS11mo. and I really don't want our vacation to be all about getting from place to place just to eat.

I know there is TONS of Public Transportation (we won't have a car). Am I over reacting, is it really east to get to where I want to go.

Example** I want to eat at Boma's our last day for breakfast before our flight. Would I have to take a bus from POP to AK Park, then a bus from AK to AK Hotel?

Thanks

to get from one resort to another, you have to go through a hub- hubs are any theme park, or DTD. It's a given that you should avoid using DTD as a hub at all costs- b/c it can take over 20 minutes just to get out of DTD due to all the stops in there.

For your specific questions- what I would do is take a bus to MK, then take the ferry launch to Wilderness Lodge. For Boma, I would take a bus to AK as the hub, then take another bus to AKL.

TAxi is also an option if you are in a rush. I took a taxi to AK from the Boardwalk before, it was maybe $15 - 18, there were 6 in our party.

There is no direct resort to resort transportation. You need to transfer at a hub, either a theme park or DTD. It can take over an hour to get from one resort to another.
When we make ADR's we always try to make them in or NEAR the park we are at for the day. So for MK, monorail or WL (a boat ride away), For EP you could eat in Epcot or at the Boardwalk, BC/YC, and Swan and Dolphin hotel restaurants. The same is true for the DHS - a boat ride or a walk away from the Boardwalk etc. The AKL is near the AK.
We try not to be crisscrossing and spending a lot of time getting to an ADR. That would be especially important with the ages of your little ones. Perhaps some of your restaurants are better suited to your next trip (there always will be another trip. :rotfl:)
Have a Great Time

I usually make my ADR's based on where I'll be on any given day. If I plan on eating at another resort, I try to plan it for a day I'll be at the park, so I can just hop on whichever bus I need.

If I have to go from resort to resort, and time is an issue, I just take a cab. For me, the cost of a taxi is worth it. My time in Disney is too precious to spend sitting at bus stops, and transfering from one bus to another.
