Getting AP Today at Disney Store Now what?

I have made reservation for on-site hotel and I am going to the Disney Store to buy the AP voucher. What do I do next? Can an AP voucher be linked so I can make FP+ arrangements as my window is open to do so.

Yes it can but I'm not sure why you would pay full price for an AP? Why not by a 6 day PH with WP&M, NE from UT? If you then upgrade after using once, you save at least $64 on AP?
