Getting adr's durning fd??????

Do you have do book each day at the 90 day out, or is it 90 days out from the beginning of your trip? In other words for 4 days of ADRs can you book all 4 ADRs on day 90 for the first day of your trip, or do you call for day one, then the next day call for day two, etc?

does that make any sense?

IF you are staying onsite you can book the entire trip up to 10 days beyond that 90 day mark.

Sorry, but I don't understand why it will be "harder" to make ADR's at 90 days instead of the old 180 day point. :confused3 No one can make their ressies before the 90 day mark, so it will be exactly the same as trying to make them at 180 days. It's just that instead of holding everyone's ADR's for 6 months, now they hold everyone's for 3 months. Really doesn't make a difference. In past years "everyone" was calling at 180 day's also.

I always advise that if you are going during the public free dining period (which this year is August 16 to October 3 so add about a week to that) and you want to eat table service at any restaurant that accepts the dining plan, make your reservations as soon as you know where you want to eat.

If you want Le Cellier, any other in-park restaurant, or any character meal whether located in a park or a resort, definitely make sure you get on the phone at your 90 day mark. (For Le Cellier you should probably be on the phone as soon as the dining line opens and even then you might not get it)

No actually, in the past by the time the free dining discount was released in April the September ADRs had already been open for about a month and I had already booked my trip and ADRS and all I had to do was call and add the code to my ADR.

I wish everyone the best of luck on getting their adr's.Fairy dust for everyone, lol:wizard:

And to throw even more craziness into the mix, they are planning on having the online reservation system running in the next month or so.:scared1:

I am scared to think what a crazy mess that will be the first couple of months!

And even once they get the Disney side working well, you still have to deal with your own personal computer and it's craziness.

So I'm guessing we'll be on the phone and the pc at the same time and some of us will probably still want to :badpc: before we're done.

I too am a little worried since they changed it to 90 and I am a FD vet also. I guess I need to sit down and make a plan B although restaurants we have picked we really really want, Ill just try and be more flexible with the times too. Im not sure the online ADR would be a good thing, then ppl have a chance to book 24/7 seems like it would make ADR even harder to get. Dont you think??

Call at 90 days and you'll be fine. A few years ago, I booked free dining and didn't believe that it would be so hard to get tables. Reading the boards I got scared and about 2 weeks before I went down started to call. It was really hard to get reservations, though I did get plenty. You definately need reservations before you go down because you won't get much once you're there.
