Getting a southwest refund

Can anyone help me? I called the other day and asked if I could get a refund to my CC and she said no it was non-refundable! I'm sure I've read that other Canadians have received refunds when callling before. Is there anything I need to say that would help me out? We are going to drive now instead of fly.

I'm going out for the rest of the day so I'll have a look when I get back!

Some of their fares are refundable and some are not. If you have purchased a fare that is non-refundable they won't give you a refund but will give you a credit to be used within one year of the date of purchase. If the fare is refundable you can take the refund or the credit btw.

I booked non-refundable and got the money back,(3x the price went down) as long as you stay on your flight everything is the same (times and location) phone the long distance number not the 1-800 and you should get it back

I unfortunately had a different experience than mousy - I book an 'internet' flight (non refundable) and then was able to book a lower 'sale' fare. I was given a credit which had to be used within a year from the date of the original booking. I tried several times to get it refunded with no luck. I ended up looking at it that the credit was an excuse to go back to Disney again - LOL
