Getting a Perm

Are there different types of perm kits depending on the type of your hair?

I know there are perms specifically designed for color-treated hair.

As far as the amount of curl you would want, that would depend on the size of the rod.

I got my perm - she said since my hair is so thin, she needed to apply a protein conditioner first and she used bigger rods. But, it was the most I ever paid for a perm - $80! I'm sure it costs cost to or more than that in big cities but I was getting perms in my town for $25! It does look good, thanks goodness!

I had perms all through HS, college, and for the first few years after I got married. But for the last 7-8 years I've kept my hair straight.....

Are perms coming back?? I'd love to try one again...and Jodi....we want pics!!
