getting a magicband when we get there

We have our reservations and magic bands. I have seen that if you leave your bands at home, they will give you gray bands at check in. What if you just want another set of bands? Will they give you the gray bands if you just ask for them? I am not going to tell them that I left my others at home to get them. Just wondering if they would give you an extra set? Anyone ever try? It would just be nice to have the extra set.

If you haven't lost or forgotten your MagicBand(s), you would most likely have to purchase them for $12.95 each (plus tax).

I have never heard that they will just give you a second set if you don't bring yours along.

From the WDW site:

If you lose your MagicBand or card at Walt Disney World Resort, please visit Guest Relations or your Disney Resort hotel Lobby Concierge and we will deactivate it for you and provide you with a replacement MagicBand or card.

Replacement MagicBands may be subject to a fee.

So they may or may not charge you, but they will replace them. In the process, your old MBs will be deactivated in favor of your "extra set". At that point, your old ones become fashion accessories only

Ahhh...thanks. No use in asking then. I'll just enjoy the ones I have and get more next year when we go. The ones from this year will still work then, right?
