Getting a little anxious about THV

we have a THV reserved for 11/7-14. Just booked our flight and will not be arriving until about 6pm. My husband is really concerned that we will end up with a villa in a less desirable location. (there is one right near the road as you go by the entrance) I am also concerned about being in the boondocks. We have a car rented for 3 days. We are travelling with DB, DSIL, niece(11) and nephew (8). They are really excited about a treehouse but would be happy elsewhere I am sure. From the availability thread it doesn't look like BWV or BC (first choices) have any availability. What are your thoughts or if you have stayed at THV convince me we will be fine. ps we do love SSR were there 2 weeks ago and my DB's family have come and stayed at SSR with us 2X prior in a 2 bdrm. TIA

Isn’t that the whole point of staying in the THV's?

You can do on-line check in prior to your arrival! In your initial reservation did you make certain requests of a particular villa, if so when your room is issued they do try to honor those as best as they can.

In the end I think your are right, there are probably better things to worry about, I'm sure no matter where they put you, it will be great! Enjoy!

When we were there 2 weeks ago DH and I went over to the THV on a scouting trip. I then requested a couple of different villas and at least the area. I haven't done the online check in but maybe I'll try it this time. Thanks.

Even if you are in the "boondocks", you will have a car so it's all GOOD.
