Get Up & Go Power Walk - has it returned?

We’re staying at the Disneyland Hotel in a few weeks and interested in doing the morning power walk. Does anyone know if it’s returned, and, if so, how to get reservations?

I have heard it is returning. Call the Grand and ask.

Thank you! I did, and they are just now bringing it back. It is now a paid service through the Tenaya Spa at the GF hotel, and is $25 per session.

I did not ask if that included a dri-fit race shirt and medal, as I know the answer.

Yes, it is a paid experience now. Again, if I'm dropping that money I expect at least a t-shirt for the hassle.

They also took away free fastpass so I'm not surprised anymore...

The hotels also took away the Grand Quest and in-park scavenger hunts. They used to be free and you could get a cookie (or rice crispy treat) for completing the Grand Quest as well as some luggage tags for the in-park scavenger hunts.

The Tenaya spa has the new options listed under activities starting next week I think. There is the Power walk (just fast walking) and a DCA bootcamp (push ups, sit ups, jogging) on alternating days) as well as yoga and other classes that are not in the park.

It looks like it will be more intense than the prior walks. Looks like a lot of options also.

One looks to be a conventional power walk. The other a morning boot camp.

From a staffing standpoint, I understand the fee. People are less likely to bail if they paid for it. But from a customer service standpoint, it's not good. I could see charging, then giving you a $25 credit when you show.

Yeah. We did the scavenger hunt in 2018 and had a great time and learned alot. Sad to hear we cannot do this when we visit in March. This doesn't seem to take much effort or money from Disney, so sucks that we no longer have that to enjoy. BIG SAD FACE!
