I just got back form there semi annual sale. Everything was on sale except dvd's and lilo & stitch stuff. Here are some of the bargains:

Princess play stuff was 50% off
Summer Pooh/Buzz was 50% off
Most childrens clothing was 35% off.
All plush: small (up to $12) =$6
medium (up to $20) = $10
large (up to $40) = $20
Jumbo (up to $100) = $50

They also had the boxed pins, some snow globes and figurines at 35% off. I got a large wooden Eeyore statue (75th anniversary edition) for 35% off!


Go now, Buy now, think later

You said boxed pin sets. Are these the storybook sets? I just bought some of these on Sat. and if they're on sale, I'm going in with my receipt. Please let me know.

I purchased a pin set that had a peek trhough cover showing Poohs head, eeyore and piglets head. The art work made it look like the pin was the head. (Does that make sense?)

They also had boxed single pins )Beauty and the beast charachters and bambi and friends (just heads)

Can you tell I'm a pin newbie

The $45 Beauty & the Beast pin set is also 35%. Last week, I poured over my Mom's manifest and this is what I remember from collectibles on sale, but I'm probably missing stuff

Big Figs: Thumper, Dopey, Grumpy, Classic Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Piglet. The Lumiere is NOT on sale.

Waterford Crystal: Cogsworth Clock, Sorceror Hat, Goblets

Dornan Trinket Boxes: Dopey, Beauty & the Beast, Bambi, Jessica& Roger Rabbit

Framed Pin Sets: I think they are all on sale

Model Sheets: Steamboat Willie, Donald, Bambi

There is also a bunch of FANCY stuff on sale like the Brenda White Alice in Wonderland Vase which I want but even $500 is too much. Dumbo Charger, Jiminy Cricket Charger, I think some of the Armani pieces may be on sale. Even the largest Seattle store doesn't carry these things so I didn't look too closely. I know Las Vegas Caesars has the vase cause I saw it there a month ago.

This may be good news for the pocketbook, but basically everything collectible except Lenox and WDCC is on sale, they're clearing it all out of the stores and that is NOT good news.

Unfortunately, word from one of the CMs at my local DS was that the stores were going through a big change. They weren't going to sell a lot of clothes any more (except seasonal), and a lot of other stuff was going away (he wouldn't give details). Nooo!

Though, I do like a good sale..

The Beauty & the Beast China Teaset!

The 10th anniversary Beauty & the Beast Snowglobe is also 35% off. That's the one with all the mini globes that was $95. The Lynnwood, WA store (the only one that stocks collectibles) didn't have it, nor did they have the Cinderella Castle playset which is 50% off.

Oh yeah, the Monorail, Train and track pieces are 50% off too.

They weren't going to sell a lot of clothes any more (except seasonal), and a lot of other stuff was going away

Yep, basically the Disney Store is going to be a kids store. No adult clothes except a T-shirt here and there, no mugs, no picture frames, no collectibles. Even the snowglobe selection will be shrinking down to about 5.

Disney "says" this stuff will be available through the catalog, but take a look at the latest (Lilo & Stitch cover) do you see very many collectibles?
