Has any Diser's used them? What is the catch, why are their tickets cheaper? Do you know how far in advance you have to purchase them?

I used them once to get DL park tickets (for Dec 2015). Paid for them, and within a couple of weeks, I got the tickets in the mail.
I plan to use them again!

We've used them many times, including 4 trips this year (2 of those trips required tickets for some of the family--wife and I got APs!). We've used them many other years too. I'd guess their tickets are cheaper since they are one of the largest sellers of Disneyland vacations. As for the tickets, we usually get hard tickets in the mail from them. Once we had to cancel our trip and we returned the tickets to Getawaytoday, they confirmed that they had not been used, and we got a full refund. Granted, we are a 30 minute drive from them so we just drove the tickets there, but I'd assume the same would work through mail too... Long story longer, they are legit and you can trust the tickets to work.

I've used them several times for both tickets only and booking packages. Super easy to use and they are always so helpful when I have had to call with questions. I bought our tickets several months ago for our upcoming trip in Nov. They were running a great deal I just couldnt pass up!

FYI, Get Away Today works with the Walt Disney Travel Company for special deals and perks, same as AAA, Costco and other large buyers (Walt Disney Travel actually does most of the work, and prepares the individual packages with the companies logos and then ships them out). They are 100% legit. I remember one deal made a few years ago, where Get Away Today buyers got a voucher as part of their package, that they turned in on Disney property for a specially labeled Pin Trading lanyard, that had their logo on it by Disney employees.

Can I upgrade a 3 day hopper to a 5 day hopper? If so, what credit value is given to the original 3 day? The purchase price or the Disney sticker price? Where would I do this? And lastly, do they mail to Canada? Thanks!

I believe only Disney can upgrade tickets - what you buy elsewhere is what you get. Having said that, have you purchased your tickets already? Just clarifying because Disney's own new Canadian resident offer cannot be beaten by getawaytoday. I know, having just refunded my 5 day PH from them to buy direct from Disney.

Get Away Today is an AMAZING travel site...I have been using them for YEARS...actually I'll be at DL starting this Friday for a week-long trip booked thru GAT...I'm staying at the Quality Inn & Suites, which is right across the street from Disneyland on Harbor Blvd...for six nights, 5-day park hopper PLUS a tix to Knott's Berry Farm is only costing me $830...I have stayed at different hotels in the area with GAT and had no problems on any of my trips...I highly recommend you use them...

I also love GAT, and use them all the time now to purchase our tickets. I like that they price match, and I really like their peace of mind insurance that you can buy for the tickets. I like getting my tickets early if the price is right, but you know things can come up and vacation plans can change, so it's nice to have that insurance. Their customer service is great, too. I do book my hotel on my own, I just use them for tickets.

I have been using them for over 10 years now and I have only ever been totally happy with them I have also had to change our entire package and it was no sweat.

Your best bang for you buck with them is packages. I have booked hotel only through them when I had an AP but there is more availability with packages (when you search on the site for hotel only you will see a number of places that can only be booked along with tickets).

You can upgrade the tickets that you buy from them at the ticket booth outside the parks but you will only get credited the price that you paid-thus you will lose your discount. If you want to change your package to a 5 day hopper do it through them to keep any discount. I booked a package with them in March so I could get all the perks and better hotel availability that comes with a package and then after I used my magic morning I upgraded my 3 day hopper to an annual pass. I was only credited what I paid and not the full price of the 3 day hopper sans discounts.

I love GAT. I have booked every Disneyland trip through them. They are wonderful, and they do care about your trip. I have even received calls from them when I have been in Disneyland to see make sure everything was going smoothly.
