This will be my first trip to Disneyland and I'm looking to buy the tickets for my May trip (2 Adults, 5 day, park hopper, Max Pass tickets). I'm looking at Get Away Today and Undercover Tourist. I have a few questions:

1. GAT has a better deal right now and says that you can go right to the gate. Does UT do that too? I couldn't find information on that but maybe I missed it.

2. Is one company better than the other? (Tickets, customer service, etc.)

3. Anything else I should know about them?

I have only used UCT, but yes, you go right to the gate with your tickets.

I'm sorry I can't help with the rest.

Both companies get good reviews here. I think GAT has trip insurance that refunds your tickets if you have to cancel your trip -- several people have posted about using this and feeling that the insurance was worth more than the low cost, just for the peace of mind.

I had already purchased trip insurance when I booked my hotel and flights earlier this year. It's a good thing too since I was diagnosed with cancer again and wasn't sure when I was diagnosed if I would be able to go. I'm fine now as long as the medications they just put me on don't cause any severe side effects. Thankfully I had planned 5 days and our hotel is across the street so it is close.

Do they both mail you the tickets if ordered far in advance or is it just emailed?

I used GAT for 2 Adult 5day hoppers with MP for a Dec 1-5 trip. Plus 2-day tickets to Universal Studios Hollywood Nov 29&30.

Very please with the savings of both.

From the time I placed the order online the tickets were in my email in just a few minutes.
Printed them off and went straight to the gates for entry. So easy and nice!!
I will use them again...

Enjoy your trip and I wish you well with your health.

1. Yes, you can go straight to the gate. If you get e tickets (which will be emailed to you) you will just give that to the person scanning tickets and they'll give you a regular ticket in exchange (no need to go to a ticket booth)
2. I've used GAT for Disneyland and UCT for WDW. I'm using UCT for my next DL trip. Both seem fine but UCT seems cheaper.
3. They're honest which is always good =) hope this helps!

We have been very happy with GAT...great customer service, but I don't think you'd go wrong either way.
When I recently bought our tickets for next summer from GAT, they said they would email the Etickets that you take straight to the gate about a week before our scheduled travel date. They emailed the receipt right away.

I've used both and they're quite easy to navigate. Go straight to the gate to get your tickets and they'll print them out there for you--no hassle, no standing at the ticket counter. I've no qualms with either aside from GAT typically seems to sell their tickets at a higher price. Last time we went with Undercover Tourist and got a better price. I would've done LMTC, but their situation is messed up and we had to buy tickets ASAP. So I'd recommend either depending on the price difference.

Make sure the DLR tickets are covered by your trip insurance. DLR tickets are non-refundable. If they are covered, great. If not, look into GAT's insurance. I think it costs about $20 or something close to that. Congratulations on your improved health and I hope that everything continues improving so that you can have a wonderful DLR trip!

Great advice. Thanks! I will double check.

Thank you for all the responses. It sounds like I should be good with whichever company I choose. I'm getting excited for this trip! This is a trip with just me and my DD (20). I'm looking forward to taking her to California for the first time and seeing Disneyland for the first time too.
