Hi everyone!
It has been such a long time! But I didn't forget you!
Yes, the Designing Disney Blog is still doing great. In the past weeks, I published several blogposts about 'Halloween at Hong Kong Disneyland' and the 'Design and History of the Disneyland Hotel California'. And I was given the 'Disney Magic Gold Award' by 'The Disney Experience' for the quality of my articles!
Today, I very proud to present you my most recent article: 'Creating Disney Magic: The Costume Department' of Disneyland Paris.
Did you know that:
- the correct choice of fabrics and materials is crucial to deal with issues like hot / cold weather, wear and tear, comfort to wear,...
- Each morning, at dawn, all 'animatronic' costumes are inspected before the Parks open to the public.
- All the animatronic and operational costumes were designed specially for Disneyland Paris.
- Disneyland Paris has several million of pieces of costume in its wardrobe.
- ...
Learn about this and more! Get an exclusive look inside the 'Costume Department' & wardrobe of Disneyland Paris and learn how a Disney theme park costume is made!
Click here to read the interview with Mrs Sue LeCash, show costume designer & head of the 'Creative Costume Department'.
I hope you like this weeks blogpost! Let me know what you think about it.
Don't forget to follow us. Some spectacular things are going to happen, in a few weeks, at the occasion of the first birthday of the Designing Disney Blog! So stay tuned!
Lots of love, for all of you!
Max

P.S. For those who participate in the 'DIS Boards DLP Christmas Card Exchange 2010': my cards are on its way!
