Germany - EPCOT - ride never built ?

I saw a video on you tube - it described a painting in which a Rhine ride was to be built but was stopped because of Mexico's and Norway's boat ride.

Any one have a link or pictures of what it would have looked like ?

Will it ever be built ? I hope so
We have German heritage in our family - per our "spit" test
