I love the stuff. Does anyone have the recipe or something close to it?

The best I have found is:

2 lbs. of potatoes
6-10 slices of bacon
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 TBSP flour
2 TBSP sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 cup water
1/2 cup cider vinegar

In covered saucepan cook potatoes in boiling salted water to tender, drain. Peel and slice potatoes. In large skillet cook bacon till crisp, drain and crumble, reserving slightly more than 1/4 cup of drippings. Cook onion in the reserved drippings till tender but NOT brown. Blend in flour, sugar, salt and pepper. Add water and vinegar. Cook and stir until thick. This may take awhile. Stir in bacon and potatoes. Cook about 5 minutes or till heated through, tossing lightly. Makes 6-8 cups.

Hope this helps some. :)

allears only has the german potato salad at The Plaza.

But I do recommend these recipes. Many are fairly easy and they taste wonderful. We have done the potato leek soup, chicken leek pie, australian lamp chops (using pork chops) and others sooo yummy!
