Genie plus question on booking reservations for family members

So I am a newbie to DL and took everyone’s advice and booked a one day park hopper for March 16. I downloaded the app and can see my reservation and four family members in there. I assume that means that my tickets are all linked (although I printed paper copies of each ticket just in case). Do I have my family download the app too? Do I need to link each of their tickets to in their apps? I am just confused about if I have to book all of the lightening lanes while we are there or if each of us somehow will have the ability to book lightening lanes for our group (like in WDW where you used to just check which people you wanted on the fast pass). I assume that there is a way where we can all have some control over the lightening lane searches, right? Trying to get all of the pre-work done before we go. I am sure that once we get there and we start using the genie plus system it will be easy but for some reason I am so stressed about it. I have always been the disney expert in our family and people just follow my lead when we tour the parks - I feel like a duck out of water going to DL though so I am trying to get up to speed so we dont have chaos once we get there.

Everyone should link their tickets to their app so they can all see the LL updates.
However, there should be only one (maybe more if absolutely needed) designated person who has all of the tickets scanned into their version app so they can book the LL reservations.
