Genie +/Lightning lane worth the extra $$?

Hello! I’m curious if you all think the Genie + and/or Lightning lane add-ons are worth the extra money. I’m leaning towards yes, but want to check in first. We came 4 years ago and a lot has changed since then. I know the hours have been limited so I think this may be a good way to optimize our time/money already spent.

We were at Disney 2 weeks ago. We used Genie+ at Magic Kingdom and it worked really well. We used LL at Hollywood Studios for Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway. We tried to use LL at Epcot for Remy, but the ride broke down and we had to leave, so I stopped at Guest Services and got our money refunded.

There are just 2 of us, so it wasn't really a huge expense. I will definitely use it again in the future.

I used it last week for Rise of the Resistance and Remy and loved it. Pick a time, pay done. Walk right one

I think G+ is worth it in MK, but in my experience, it wasn't worth it for the other parks. I refuse to buy the ILL$, but I think most of those rides are still easy to hit with an efficient plan, so not necessary IMO.

We used ILL$ aka IAS for RotR and it was worth it, even though it was $15+ TAX per person (3 of us went).

Disney is going to make it so it's the only viable way to ride the rides, sooooooo

For us yes. Time is short at Disney so we are happy to pay to ride what we want with less standing in line. For us time is money.

Reports for the past couple of crowd level 10 days are that there are NO LLs available by early afternoon in any park. So Genie+ may only get you a couple of the rides in which you are interested at very busy times.

For Magic Kingdom, almost definitely yes.

For Studios and AK, yes if you want to do every attraction.

For Epcot, not really, unless you're hopping over.
