Genie + group purchase at DCA, group not together question

We will be adding Genie + to our tickets on the first day. My husband and son will be first at the gate, rope dropping. My husband will be logged into my account and scan his and my son's tickets. Myself and the rest of the family won't be able to come until about an hour later. First question: 1) My husband and I can just share my log-in, correct? And he'll just scan the two tickets, and then later when I come, I'll scan the remainder of the tickets, correct? And next question 2) Can he purchase Genie + for just him and my son or can he purchase Genie + for all of us right then and there? No wrong option, but I usually handle all of the details, and I don't want to confuse him.

Yes, your understanding of how to scan into the park is correct. He uses your account to scan his and your sons and then you use your account to scan everyone else in later. Genie + can only be purchased once a ticket has been scanned into the park so he will only be able to purchase his and your sons and then you can purchase the rest once you arrive later

Question about Genie+ and a large group -- we are a family of 9, with 7 young adult children. We are going to the parks Tuesday and Wednesday next week. If our group decides not to stay together, can some of us use the Genie+ for a ride without using up the opportunity for the rest of the group?

For example, if some of the party rides Space Mountain and uses Genie+, will it negate the rest of the party using Genie+ for Space Mountain later in the day?

Each ticket gets the opportunity to ride each attraction one time. When you book your LL, make sure only the guests who wish to ride then are checked on the screen that lists everyone’s names. Uncheck those who won’t be riding at that time. If you accidentally reserve for guests who aren’t riding, cancel those guests before the return time or they will lose their chance to ride later.
