Genie+ for DCA afternoon/evening visit?

This will be our first visit since Genie+ started, so we don't have any experience with it yet. We (2 adults, 3 teenagers) will be visiting California Adventure from about 1:00pm to close on Saturday Nov. 5th. Is it necessary and/or worth it to buy Genie+ with a late park arrival in DCA? Thank you!
