Genie+ and Park Hopping

Quick question. If you have a park reservation for AK and are park hopping to MK, Can I booked my first ride reservation at MK and start stacking them for my park hopping, or do I have to activate genie plus at AK by reserving at least one right? Thank you.

You can reserve your first at MK. You then have to wait 2 hours after MK opens to get your second one.
