Saw it on Amazon - so what do you think? It seems so think I worry abot it breaking!

I didn't get one at xmas, waited too long and it was sold out. Now debating whether i want the gen2

Several of us have a Kindle and love it!! There's another thread about Kindles but I don't know how to link to it - it should be on the first few pages,though.

I have had a Kindle since last June and I ordered the new one immediately!! I will pass my K1 down to my daughter and use K2 myself. I am SOOOOO excited about February 25th - will be stalking the mailman all day!

I have a K1 and absolutely love it. DH surprised me on my B-Day Wednesday and pre-ordered the K2 for me. Mine is scheduled for delivery March 2. I will also be stalking the mailman.

Thanks, kasey. I pre-ordered UR and it downloaded yesterday. I had a book club meeting last night and the conversation was boring so I read half of it instead - another benefit of the Kindle!!! No one could tell that I was reading Stephen King when I was supposed to be looking at the book we were discussing. Very sneaky but a nice unexpected benefit!!!

How is UR? I want to order it but right now I am reading a book and have about 10 samples waiting. I promised myself I wouldn't buy anything else until I finished the book and the samples. The free samples are like an addiction!

Did you order a case. I have the red leather M-edge one for my K1 but for my K2 I ordered the purple leather.

I am getting one... DH ordered the gen 1 for me for a Christmas gift, and it was so backordered (um, methinks they ran out!) that they are upgrading me to the gen 2! Yay. I will be voraciously reading about it until I get it!

Anxiously awaiting the bonus check at the end of next month and then I'm ordering one!! I can't wait.

I heard rumors that there was going to be a gen2 so I held off ordering. Now I'm so anxious I could just about die!!
