General weather pattern for December 13-20

The guidance favors normal to slightly above normal temperatures for the rest of this week, with highs in the 70s to around 80. There is a possibility of some showers over the weekend (Dec 15-16-17).

The beginning of next week (Dec 17-20) should be a little cooler, but still seasonable.

I've been checking the 10 day forecast religiously the last few days since we'll be there the 16th thru 22nd, and it looks like pretty good weather. Highs around 75, lows around 55, chance of showers Wed or Thur of next week. Should be fun!

We will be there in 8 days so we have been checking the 10 day forecast as well. We hope it is warmer than last Christmas where it hit low 30's a few PM and AM's

Accuweather has the temps next week at 75-78 high and 52-57 low. Sounds PERFECT!

. I have been stressing over cold weather and if the forecast holds true , I couldn't have asked for a better forecast! I will definitely be leaving the coats at home. Still bringing hoodies and a light jacket just in case but I'll also be packing a couple more pairs of capri's and shorts. Keep your fingers crossed December travelers!

WooHoo! I agree! We're leaving the big winter coats in the car at the airport and just taking our light jackets & hoodies! I'll take a little rain if the lows are only going to be 55 degrees! The last time we went to WDW in December, we FROZE! The weather this time will be wonderful!

I am so excited! I have been checking the weather everyday to see if anything changes. We will arrive on Monday and stay through Sun morning. The weather looks almost perfect! I can't believe it. We were down in 04, and wore gloves and heavy coats in the middle of the day. They were wind chill advisories while we were there.

I recommend that you use the Trip Planner for Weather Underground. Here's the link for Orlando:

It allows you to enter some dates and it tells you what you should expect based on historical weather data.

So in your case:

The Average High Temperature is 71 F with a historical range of 36 F to 84 F
The Average Low Temperature is 51 F with a historical range of 20 F to 70 F
here is a 91% chance of a Warm Day (temperature over 60°F).
There is a 24% chance of a Precipitation Day.

We'll also be there Dec 15-22 and I was getting so stressed with people saying how in the past at this time of year they needed gloves and heavy coats. I was ready to pack it all. But the forecast looks fabulous and 50s for us (from MA) is mild, mild, mild at this time of year! Hoodies and sweatshirts for us, leaving our parkas at home! And honestly the forecast for here in MA is super mild too. We'll be having highs in the mid 50s next week here which is crazy for right before Christmas!

I was just checking the weather online myself. A bit of rain for my CP on Friday, but at least I won't need my winter parka!

I have been watching the 10 day forecast like a hawk, you wouldn't believe how much it changed day to day and even hour to hour, everytime I looked it was different. Once it had 3 days with 97 % chance of rain

but it looks much better now for Dec 13 - 20
