Hi all,
How do you change your chosen park on a certain day?
I want to replace a MK day with an AK day. I can't figure out how to make that switch!
Seems like it would be simple but I can't figure it out, or find it in a search.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know if this is the most streamlined way to do it, but if you go to the website and log into "my plans" you should be able to view your reservation and there is an option to "cancel this park pass"

Ah! I did not see that option. Will go try now. Thank you so much Sponica!

Yeah they didn't exactly make it easy, I think there was a "details about this reservation" and when you click on it, there's an option at the bottom to "cancel this park pass"....then I think you have to go to the park pass reservation system to pick a new park for that day.

Again not sure it's the most streamlined way available but it was the only way I could figure out how to do it

Just did it! Success. Phew.

Right now I have no worries about cancelling then having to go all the way back in to reserve my new park, BUT, when parks start becoming more crowded I'm going to be nervous about doing a complete cancellation before being able to confirm I can definitely get into a different park I want (I know I can"look" at availability first...but it's still a few minutes to get all the way back in). I would much prefer a "modify" option like the fastpass system.

Anyone figure out if you can look at the entry time for a park? I know it says that you can enter between xx to xx but once you finalize it your entry might be at 11:00 when the first time was 8;00. If I can actually see the entry time it would help plan my days better

Disney is rolling out the phased opening with staggering park hours. I know Magic Kingdom is currently scheduled to be opened from 9 a.m. To 7 pm. Epco t is from 11 a.m. To 9pm. Cast members are saying that things can change minute to minute and just keep checking Disney 's website.

Are we supposed to go in and cancel so it frees up the spots?
Is it like a dining reservation where they may actually charge you for a no show?

We have 13 park days reserved and I'm certain we will not go each of those days. I reserved them to hold them as we figure out our actual schedule. I'd like to know if I should "release" the reservations or hang on to them.

Thank you!

This is my question....sorry if I wasn't clear.
If I don't intend to use it but don't decide until that day, do I still need to cancel?
Does anyone know if there is a penalty? I'll hang on to it in case we decide to swing by later in the day, etc.

If I know for sure we aren't going, I will for sure cancel so it frees up for someone else. Is the "system" that dynamic and will recognize the cancellation and open it up to book?

Might be to early for this question but here it goes.
Can you make same day reservations or change them for the parks?
example. You originally have mk and want to change it to all?

What do you mean by change it to "all"?

You can go in and change which park you want a reservation for. You have to cancel your current and then start the process over to book a different park. I just learned how to do this today!

There is no specific entry time into the park. The time you have to pick is actually the park hours for the day and you can go in at any time. Some posters have commented that they believe Disney just used the platform for FPs when developing the park reservation system and that's why you have to select a time. Now it could also come into play in the future if Disney feels they need to stagger entry but I think if that happens you will actually pick an entry time and not be assigned one. This is how the previews for Pandora & Galaxy's Edge were done - you actually picked an entry time.

Until you just said it...that didn't even cross my mind o_O I suppose if you know for sure you cancel, but the pass is good from open to close with no commitment when to arrive. Everyone likes to keep their options open ::yes::

I think you can cancel your existing reservation and make a reservation for another park as long as there’s day-of availability. No one has tried it yet to confirm this until the parks reopen.

You can cancel a reservation if you wish, just make sure before youdo that your btacket has availability for the park you want, then you have to rebook, there's no modify button just cancel

So, I found a great price on airfare, room availability at POP for my dates, but when I look at the calendar for park reservations it shows no availability for any parks on any days. Is this correct? Or maybe there is a glitch in the WDW website? I know their IT department can't keep up with demand most times. I don't want to go and not go to a park. Any insight?
