Hi, sayakubik!

If you look down the list of threads and find one with "ECV" in the title, there will be plenty of information about where to rent one. Most everyone here says to rent offsite, and I agree with that suggestion. That way you will have an ECV if you park hop and the ECVs are usually in better shape than the ones WDW rents.

Most lines are mainstream, so you spouse will be able to go right through the line with you. For the ones that aren't there are different things that happen. Sometimes they will tell you to park the ECV and then switch to a manual wheelchair. Other times you will board through the exit (mostly only some of the rides in Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom). Each park has a guidebook for guests with disabilities and it will have all of the rides and shows listed along with what type of access is provided.

Most places you ride the ECV right up to the loading area, If not, then the CM at the ride will direct you, to either get into a manual chair, or take you to an entrance where you walk a short distance to the ride. Be sure to take your key when leaving the ECV.
and know that when the CM's move the scooter manually you need to reset the motor start mechinism in the back or it won't move.
