General Question about WDW reservations

I've always made my reservations by phone because we need special room accomodations.

On our last two trips once I've made reservations by phone, I get the confirmation papers in the mail within 7-10 days. I made reservations in January and still have not gotten any confirmation papers in the mail.

We've not been to WDW since 2006.... so perhaps things have changed???

I think I would call back and confirm and tell central reservations that you haven't received any papers yet. It seems kind of odd to me That would help me to relax.

Since we live so close we are able to go fairly often. To make you feel better , there have been many times we haven't received any confirmation info/packet at all, neither email or mail - so I just print out the info I have and take it along with me in case, and we have never had a problem at check in.

I really don't know why sometimes you get something and sometimes you don't - maybe there's a CM who works with the res department on the boards who can answer that?

on my two most recent trips... last sept. we made reservations in april for free DDP and did not get paper work till about 45 days before departure. for our trip 2 weeks ago, made the reservation second week of jan for second week of feb. got the paperwork in about 9 days.

Well, i did our reservations online Feb. 25th and today i got our confirmation stuff in the snail mail. I had already printed everything out on the computer, but got the other stuff today.

Our last 3 trips, we always book by phone to CRO, our reservation papers came via e-mail. I just printed them out and brought them with us when we went. Last trip was in January 2008, we booked in November and I believe CRO asked if we preferred on-line or mailing of reservations, we chose on-line, was really fast. We never booked a trip yet on-line, rather talk on the phone and confirm everthing.

I made our reservations online this year and I have not received any written confirmation from wdw. I have called several times to make changes to my reservation (and to make sure they had me on the books) and I've also gone online to make sure my changes were noted. It bothers me not to get written confirmation but I print out out everything to take with me on our vacation.

Did you pay the whole thing at once? I made the deposit.. and then got an invoice stating what the balance was.. what my plan was.... the hotel, requests that we made, ect. I wonder why you haven't gotten one?
