General Design Question

I have 4 black and white digital pics of my daughters and I want to make the lollipops they are holding red or pink for Valentine's Day. How do you do this? I do not have photoshop. I have downloaded picassa from the web that helps me edit my photos but couldn't find it there. Any suggestions? I know there are a lot of talented people on here and just was curious. I'm trying to make Valentine cards to send to my family. Thank You!!!

You may be able to do this with Photoshop Elements and I know you can download a trial version to check it out...
