We are going to be at Disneyland on Sun July 25 thru Thursday July 29, we were wondering what the crowd levels more than likely be like? I understand Sundays is when the local AP holders show up, will the other days tend to be lighter? We do expect crowds the whole time. Thanks

Im always there July 15-20 and wheras there is crowds things ususally border on a 45-60 wait- We always hit the big things first then by the time the crowds really hit (11:30-12) we start doing the not so popular things or rely on FP-

Ive thought it to be *that* bad- but then I dont really focus on riding the rides

I expected lines for most of the rides. I figured the major ones are first thing at opening and maybe near closing times. We also want to do shows and other stuff beside the major rides. I know at WDW, if you get started at opening and can do more in an hour or so than the rest of the day.

As it is with DL- At DL ya usually even get a bit more time as the locals dont hit till 11ish- :)

Best Advice- Learn to use FP to your advantage- ie always have a valid FP as they are good for the rest of the day- We usually hit the favs in the morning and get as many FPs so we can re-ride later that day if we want..

I was reading somewhere - maybe on here - that Tuesday - Thursday and Sunday before noon are the least busiest times. We made our PS arrangements based on that, so I guess we'll find out in a little over a month.

Go at opening, always use FP since it will be busy.
Fantasmic is always crowded. If possible go to the second showing. What we do is wait for the first shows crowds to clear out a little and go right for the front and wait. By some snacks and eat while you wait. Also I know they don't advertise this but some rides are "disconnected" from the FP system. Last time I was there Pirates and Haunted Mansion were. I had 3 FP at one time. Just try it. Splash Mtn and Soaring will run out of FP early so make sure you go on those early so you don't wait 120 mins in standby.
