Not much planned today except work. Going to be crazy busy.

Harry Potter and Bluewater shopping tomorrow though. Although I'm thinking it's going to be mega busy...bummer.

Morning all - Im off to work as well today and going to be very busy. Im hoping for an earlier finish though as its Friday (its been almost 6 when Ive finished the last 3 nights)

There is a few more details coming through now. It was on world drive by the Contemporary, one bus went in to the back of the other. Approx 50 passengers on them with 12 being taken to hospital.

After the monorail tragedy this is the last thing they needed.

Morning all. We had a lot of rain through the night but didn't hear any thunder.

I have just taken the dogs for a walk, made hubby his lunch, emptied the dishwasher & put some washing on. Now having a cup of tea before I start on the house work & tidying up.

What are you up to today?

Kyra's school has confirmed outbreaks of swine flu, also one of the schools near us one of the children died from it so im unstandably worried. Do i keep Kyra in school for the last 3 days or just keep her home and become hermits?

Oh no hope she will be ok. As for keeping her in school the advice seems to be if she is fit and healthy they should still attend. Although I'm not sure what i would do.

Some of the children didnt turn up for the school trip yesterday and im now worrying if its some of them that have it.

I will have to decide what to do over the weekend.

Problem is she could already have been exposed to someone who has it, so keeping her away won't make a difference if that is the case. Her school is finishing late. Everyone I know who works in schools locally finish today!


I'm off to the West End to see Mamma Mia with my sister later. Can't wait

thats where we are lucky our school holidays started over 2 weeks ago and we live in a very small populated area and I don't know or have heard of anyone that has swine flu.

Think I will stay in my little village and avoid meeting anyone

This part of the country seems to be lucky so far although a tourist died of it in Inverness Hospital a couple of days ago. She did have health issues though.

It is like waiting for a timb bomb to go off!!!!!

Once you have had it - can you not get it again?

Oh I am getting SO paranoid of this flu!!
I really need to get it in the next 9 weeks! As if I don;t I think it;s pretty guranteed I'll get it on holiday.

Here's hoping I get it at bluewater tomorrow!

There was a swine flu expert on the news the other day and he said its actually quite hard to catch, he said that kids catch it easiest and then they bring it into the home. He also said that for adults there is only a very small chance of catching it from being in public places.

No problem, we've only 19 in our school and 3 in nursery so need a few more kids
