We had a great day in Leicester !! we were VERY worried that the sales would be over and we would struggle to buy anything, fears were totally unfounded and we managed to get what we wanted

We also both brought new Terramundi pots ( saving spree ones ) and mine has its first new note ( a twenty) in it.

evening,

we're just home, have been away all day at highland games, Oldest ds was playing the drums in the pipeband. At the games during the day and then in the evening he was playing somewhere else. Its been a long day and there's only so many times you can walk round looking in the stalls and trying to keep the kids away from the fair .

Early this morning Ebony got her hair cut into a bob at chin length, she looks so grown up and even cheekier. Her hair was 1/2way down her back so a bit of a change for her.

I'm so pleased with the bargains I got in town today: 2 Monsoon dresses for £30 and 4 Dorothy Perkins tops £24... That's all my holiday clothes sorted now

Good morning, everyone.

I went to see Harry Potter film yesterday and really enjoyed it. those child actors have certainly grown up!

Still trying to get on top of my holiday washing - I wish I had a washing machine like the ones at ASMu mine takes up to 2 hours to wash half the load their machine washed in half an hour.

Richard has gone to work, the girls and I are taking it easy this morning after our day at Thorpe Park we are all a bit tired.
I have a mountain of to get through this morning, they are going to tennis club this afternoon when I am going for brows and lashes
I fancy a roast tonight to need to pop to the shops too

today is the last day of our holidays, so got to pack the school bags and make sure all the school clothes are ready.

DD wants me to help her clear out her bedroom - I can see a lot of trips to charity shops this week.

Hello and happy Monday to you all!

This morning I am mostly recovering from yesterday's excesses... Firstly, we sampled Sophie's amazing home made ice cream (raspberry cheesecake - OMG it was yummy!!!) whilst sipping pink fizz!!! Later, we wanted something quick whilst watching the athletics (Go, Jessica Ennis!!! ) so had McDonalds - large meals as Matty wanted to collect the Coke glasses because he's moving out soon... What a bunch of piggies...

So, back to the straight and narrow today...

I've been busy tidying up this morning.....it's amazing how much mess my hubby can create in two days.

Now i'm just having a half time break from cutting the grass....it is so hot out that I thought I was going to melt, looks to be clouding over a little now though.

Morning Claire and IKWYM!!! I have 3 men in my home and they just seem to leave disruption in their wake!!! There is a little light at the end of the tunnel tho' as eldest DS, Matty is moving out soon...

However, on a more fab and downright excited note, our cruise documents just arrived!!!

My DD is at her Nana's(been there since saturday), DBF is working and it is strangly quiet, so I am holiday planning.

Oh I will Claire, he's an absolute sweetheart but he's 24 and it's time. Plus I love it being just Richard and myself when Sammy's away at school... We've been parents for almost 27 years - we went from being kids to having kids so I'm happy to now have time to be a loved-up, grown-up couple...
