Geen Yight - She's Out of Sight: A Trip of Leaps and Bounds

YAYAYAYAY for being in the teens!!!

Once again I just love being able to shop with you!!!!

I'm so happy that you will be at your happy place soon with your favorite people!! Doesn't get better than that!!!

Jill's countddown calendar is sooo cute! It's one of those little things the girls will remember fondly later.

I'm a casual dresser, too. So I was eyeing a couple of Mickey t-shirts at Old Navy, especially the US-flag classic Mickey head one for men. Nearly got a trio of them for us for July 4, but they were dark-ish grey, and I just coudn't get shirts that we can't wear in the FL heat. :sad1: Truthfully, I look at every clothing and footwear purchase with one eye on Disney. :rolleyes1
If I can't wear it happily in Florida, it rarely comes home.

All caught up again...

I hope you are enjoying your summer! :goodvibes You're trip is right around the corner!! I love the countdown that Jill made for the girls. :thumbsup2

Great update! Loved seeing CBR in those pictures! Can't wait to stay there! The pool swayed my decision to stay there because I knew the kids would love it! Just a little over a month to go!

Wow. Your next trip is just creeping up!! Cute countdown calendar.

I have never stayed at CBR but that pool sure does look cool.

Oh my...this is goodness!

Do we like parades?

Yes, we do.

IMG_1641.jpg

That is just about the cutest expression!! It warms my heart to see that. I truly hope Madelyn will enjoy it in October (she'll only be 16 months, so we'll see)!! :cutie:

I am so, so, so excited about being in this magical place again with my girls! I have enjoyed getting the texts and pictures from those who have been down in the past few weeks. As I picture them there, and as I listen to Soarin' music as I type right now, I am ready to pack my suitcase and go sit in Jill's driveway until it is time to go! :car:
:lmao::lmao: I bet you would do just that!

Hooray for being in the teens!!:cool1::cool1:
I love the countdown calendar Jill!

I'm not gonna lie. I am so far behind from being on my non-Disney vacation:rolleyes: that I'll never catch up, though I'll try.

But I do have to add one thing--
MeMom, if I grow my hair out a little, will you make me a banana pudding???:flower3:

I haven't been to the Caribbean Beach in a while. I forgot how nice that resort is and how I loved the food court! :goodvibes

Enjoyed the great pictures of CBR. Never been there yet so it was fun seeing it.

Nice pics of CBR! We haven't stayed there since '06, so I'm thinking it might be time to go back (that is if I can pull myself away from my beloved POR!).

I had forgotten they had done the big pool refurb, and it looks awesome! I liked the pool a lot before the refurb, but now it looks even more fun! I have a feeling my baby pirate would also agree with me!

How nice that you were able to spend another evening with Trent and Tanya! The food looks good too!

You are so close now. Time will fly by. I know it will for Jill. She is a busy, busy lady. It makes me tired reading all that she does from week to week.

With all of Brooklynn's activities and work, she does stay on the go. She cherishes the rare Saturdays when she can sleep a little later and have some time to just chill at home.

Dinner looked great! I've never been her but really need to check it out.

The chicken is really good, and to be able to get mashed potatoes and broccoli at a food court is a nice change from burgers and pizza and the standard stuff.

I already decided that if I would get the chocolate, I'd fill the empty wrappers with Styrofoam or cardboard.

I'm craving Disney Fudge and Disney Chocolate Strawberries.

Wahoo for being in the teens!!!

It is hard to pass up a Disney chocolate-covered strawberry. They are very large and very delicious!

Wow MeMom, you sure are getting close now! I hope you have a good trip!!!

I'm going to Alabama tomorrow and coming home Friday, at which time we will be able to say TWO weeks! :cool1:

Love the pics of the Carribean Resort!

I havn't made it over there yet...maybe this trip. It looks so pretty!

I get such a kick out of Bella's vocab...she is just the sweetest little thing!

Thanks Sunnystace ....you got me craving a Dairy Queen chocolate dipped cone....
I missed out on my "double digit" celebration Saturday....worked all day and then went in for a coworker that night.
It was exciting to see that number though!!

It is pretty. I have been over there about five times, but I have yet to walk the entire grounds. Maybe I can get a little farther from just the main area one of these days. It seems like it's always raining or dark when I am there.

Bella is a little nut. Maybe we can get Jill to put some video up of her talking about Pop Cenchy. Maybe we can get some tomorrow night when we meet up with Marc, Anita, and Baylor, too.

You are so right, the CBR pool looks wonderful! I'd like to stay there with the kids sometime just for that pool. I had to laugh at your skinhead comment to Trent. lol!

Great countdown Jill! That's so soon!

Your kids would love that pool!

YAYAYAYAY for being in the teens!!!

Once again I just love being able to shop with you!!!!

I'm so happy that you will be at your happy place soon with your favorite people!! Doesn't get better than that!!!

You just spent about three weeks with the shopping queen, so I am guessing you have seen every piece of WDW merchandise known to man!

Yep, Disney World with my family is my heaven on earth, I always say. Too bad all the guys aren't getting to come.

Ah the CBR pics take me back! Wait, we've never stayed there.

Aaahh, yes, the trip to Maine, was it? The one that got a little off course?

So Memom, do you have a shopping list already for must buys?

I will make a teeny tiny short list. I would like the 40th anniversary tree ornament. There are many things I want, but few things I will actually buy. I will walk around the stores with them and then go and put them back. I am very famous for this.

I am just not a fashionista (sp?) to start with, and on top of that, I'm too cheap to spend much money on myself. ;)

How fun your trip is so close!!!! The countdown calendar is so adorable!!!

Maybe I'll get a picture of the girls taking down a Mickey head tomorrow or Thursday.

All caught up again...

I hope you are enjoying your summer! You're trip is right around the corner!! I love the countdown that Jill made for the girls.

Yes, I am, and I am getting a lot of odds and ends done around the house. I spent some time trimming bushes this morning.

Great update! Loved seeing CBR in those pictures! Can't wait to stay there! The pool swayed my decision to stay there because I knew the kids would love it! Just a little over a month to go!

The pool is a big draw. Keep counting - it'll be here soon! :dance3:

Wow. Your next trip is just creeping up!! Cute countdown calendar.

I have never stayed at CBR but that pool sure does look cool.

I watched a youtube video of it today. The BOGP host arrived there today, and that's where his family is staying. He Tweeted that they were there, so I did the best thing I could so and went to youtube to 'be there'.

I bet you would do just that!

Hooray for being in the teens!!
I love the countdown calendar Jill!

Well, I am going down there tomorrow, but my suitcases are staying home. I'm going down there again next Saturday, too, with no suitcases, but the next time - suitcases, baby! :woohoo:

But I do have to add one thing--
MeMom, if I grow my hair out a little, will you make me a banana pudding???

I'll see if Trent will share. :goodvibes He rarely eats sweets, but he has a few choice things he likes, and banana pudding is one of them.

I haven't been to the Caribbean Beach in a while. I forgot how nice that resort is and how I loved the food court!

I think they did an excellent job making it look like an open air marketplace.

Enjoyed the great pictures of CBR. Never been there yet so it was fun seeing it.

Maybe when you take your daughter down and pick her up, you could try a different resort restaurant each time. Just a thought.

He would be a splash happy little guy in that pool!

The food and the company were good. :)
That's the night we had to say goodbye, though. :sad1:
It was the easiest goodbey we had had, though, since he had been down there, because we knew he was coming back for Bella's birthday party in April. I don't think we knew at that time, however, that he was going to have that job offer to come back to Nashville.

I had seen a lot of pictures, but didn't realize until we actually stayed at CBR that all that was inside a building!! They did a great job! The only downside to me about CBR is the distance to the food court if you happen to get assigned a room on the oposite end of the property - It's a long way to go to refill a mug!

The very first time I saw a picture of that food court, I thought it was outside, too! They just did a really good job with the theme.

I like the Calypso Trading gift shop, also. It's pretty big, it has (or at least had) some unique items, and it is very bright and colorful.

I agree that being so spread out is a negative in the aspect of not being able to run down and fill your mug, like we do at Pop. Maybe they should have drink refill stations at the pools for convenience. I have only walked in the area right up at the front and then down a little ways to the beach on the right. I'd like to cross a bridge and go over and see the room buildings.

That's what they did at Old Key West. Our room was really far from the Hospitality House, but right next to a pool that had a little snack bar you could get a refill from. It was perfect!

Must congratulate you on the teens!!!

I'm still craving fudge now. I even made a cake over the weekend and have been eating the leftovers. Nope, not good enough. I'm going to have to get some fudge soon. Even if it's not Disney fudge (gasp!).

We stayed at CBR before our first Disney Cruise in January 2009 - that was the trip that I planned on the DIS with my snowbird buddies. We loved it!!! Even though my MIL complained that everything was so far.
Didn't bother me at all. I enjoyed walking around that resort!! The food court was great too - lots of options for everyone. I have heard horrible things about Shutters, the TS restaurant there though. Never tried it.
The kids loved the pools!

Yay for the teens and the countdown calendar is so cute!! I have always said I wanted to do one but I always forget! :goodvibes

CBR is where we stayed on our first trip! I really don't remember anything of it (just POR, back when it was Dixie Landings) but I love seeing pictures from there.

Have a great time in Alabama with your girls!
