Gearing Up For a Birthmasiversary With the Mouse! - A Dec 09 PTR

YAY 13 DAYS!!!!! :yay::yay::yay::yay:

Don't worry about being a PRT absentee, you're really busy making that Disney dough, so it is completely forgivable :)

You have to treat yourself sometimes. You're working so hard, you deserve a little something every once in awhile. I know how you feel though, I bought two long sleeve t's at target the other night (for layering under t-shirts) and as I was standing on line I was asking myself if I really needed them. Finally I said to heck with it, they were $6 each and I layer throughout the winter months.

I hope your park bag works out okay. It's all about the comfort. DH took an old school bag of mine that I don't really like. It's one of those that has a strap that goes across your chest. LOL it's annoying to me because I have ****s, but he seems to be fine with it.

I will say tuned for your TR and dining review!!

Hey Billie I know how busy you are I also know how anxious you are getting to see RON, You are right behind us, Have you had time to pack? Hope you get some down time soon, miss you!!!!:grouphug:

PTR's are the hardest things to keep going, especially as you get closer to your trip. I hope all is well on your end. Are you packed yet? Excited to see Ron? Duh! Of course you are! Can't wait to hear all about your trip :cutie:

Okay, how did I NOT know about this pre-trip report? Well, I'm here now and off to read. :)

Hope you are doing okay?

Anyways, we are getting soooo close! :yay:

Did Ron get his package yet?

A back-up parkbag is never a bad thing. Of course, this coming to a person with 3 potential parkbags and 1 PPPBs. :lmao:

Do not feel guilty about getting yourself a little something something, especially if Ron will appreciate it! Go indulge. I think i may have gotten that from a perfume ad, btw.

How was the online check-in? Mine for that comes on Dec 1, since I don't do the on-property part of my stay until Dec 11.

I'm at 10 days today and did online checkin it was so easy and made me feel so goofy excited I couldn't stop giggling. I can't believe how fast it is getting here. I am so jealous of my family they are already enjoying all the mouse has to offer. My Mom and BIL are having scooter races. They are eating in Mexico tonight and watching Illuminations one of my favs, soon:woohoo::woohoo:
I still need to do my online check-in. LOL. I have no idea why I'm being so slack about it, other than it means firing up the desktop computer that I never use since it's attached to the printer, and I if there's anything to print I want to be able to. I need to print off all the spreadsheets and itineraries and such I've made too, so maybe I'll do all of it tonight after dinner. :)

Scooter races are the best! Just not in crowded areas, of course. I'm a very responsible ECV driver, and that's why seeing so many people here on the DIS complain abou them just irks me to no end. :sad2:

Yay for 13 days!!! We are right behind you!!!! It is so exciting!!!!!!!

Sometimes you HAVE to get some new things for yourself...just makes you feel good! And, yes...it is a nice thing to look nice for your guy! It makes you feel good, too!
Yes, I actually have all my outfits planned out on which days. LOL. I'm not a high-maintenance girl by any means, I love dark blue jeans with cute tees or tops. But even then, it's important that I FEEL cute, if not totally 110% fashionista.

I have an ample chest myself, but I am giving a crossbody bag a chance this year. I think between the two bags, I'll have one or the other work fine. :thumbsup2

D'aww! Yeah, I've been crazy busy, but it's slowly down now. "Hurry up and wait" time, as they say. LOL. I'm just so ready to BE THERE!! :woohoo:

I can't wait to hear all about yours, seeings as how you are there RIGHT NOW! You lucky girl, you! :cutie:

Okay, how did I NOT know about this pre-trip report? Well, I'm here now and off to read. :)
LOL! I don't know, but welcome Kathy! This PTR's got a few more days left on it! :rotfl:

Hope you are doing okay?

Yes, I'm doing fine! Been feeling a bit run-down, so I've been sleeping every free moment I have. No big cold or flu symptoms yet, though, so I think I'm just tired from working so much.

Okay, first and foremost:

5 more days until Ron boards his flight!

6 more days until we are on our way to Disney World!
:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

Okay, now that's out of the way... :rotfl:

Thank you everybody for all your comments, and your concern! Again, sorry I've been so MIA the last month or so, but you all know I've been workin' my butt off! :scared: The second job has come to an end. I may be going back after the trip for a week and a half, just to help then out right before Christmas. But that's it. As for my full-time job, at the hotel, I had the last two nights off. I go back tonight, and I work straight until until my first day of vacation time on 11/30. I took the day before our departure off so that I have plenty of time to rest and prepare for the trip, as well as go do the girly things like get my nails done, etc. :cutie:

Ron got his package in the mail on Monday, he loves his park bag and all of the Disney stuff I sent him. He went through it all with me on the phone, he especially liked the customized maps of all four parks. :goodvibes He's starting to get excited now that we're down to less than a week! :woohoo:

I've got all my laundry for the trip done as of today. It's all either hanging in a section of my closet or folded in a specific drawer in my dresser. I don't really have room to leave a suitcase open getting filled up over days, so that part won't happen until the night before. But I getting everything organized and ready to be packed now. I have my master packing list made, just need to print it. All the shopping bags of all the little things I've bought to go along with us (mesh laundry bags, moleskin, ponches, etc) are all gathered up in a corner in the computer room.

Tonight I finally went on and did our online check-in, and registered my birthday. In the next couple days, I'll print out the spreadsheets I've made for our itinerary. We also tweaked our ADRs one last time... of course. :rotfl2: I don't think I've updated ya'll on our finalized itinerary recently, and I know I haven't updated the post at the beginning of this thread. LOL. But here is what we are going with:

12/1: Ron's flight arrives at 11:10am. Pick him up, stop at Sonic for lunch. (Ron loves Sonic and there aren't any near where he lives.) Hit the road and be checking in at Coronado Springs between 4-5pm. Depending on how he is feeling, either nap until dinner at 9pm, ~OR~ head out to MK until closing at 7pm. Then take the monorail loop over the Epcot just to see it without leaving the train. Then back at MK transferring to the resort monorail and heading over to explore the Contemporary until our 9:00pm ADR at Chef Mickey's. Eat, meet the Mouse himself and friends, then head back to CRS to unpack and get ready for the next day.

12/2: 7:45am ADR at Maya Grill to get a good filling breakfast before our first full day! At MK in time for 9am opening ceremony. Stay there until 6:00pm-ish, then head over to the Studios for Osbourne Lights and 2nd Fantasmic showing. Followed by 9:45pm ADR at Whispering Canyon Cafe, then back to the room after late dinner.

12/3: My birthday! :cutie: Head over to El Centro to grab breakfast at either Pepper Market or Rix Grab-n-Go. Be at Epcot in time for 9am rope drop. Hang in FutureWorld until World Showcase (my favorite) opens. Then tour as much as we can until our 4:30pm dinner ADR at Les Chefs de France. See Remy. Eat birthday cake. Yum! Then back to the room to put the rest of the birthday cake away, freshen up, and change into my Christmas-ish stuff. Because next we are off to the MK for MVMCP! (We'll be meeting JoJo and her DH here!) Party until Midnight, then exit with the masses and head back to the room to pass out!

12/4: Sleep-in! This is our relaxed day. We have asolutely nothing scheduled until our 7:10pm dinner ADR at Le Cellier. I'd like to head out to Epcot around 4pm though, so we can finish anything in World Showcase that we didn't get to. After dinner, we are skipping Illuminations and heading right to Future World for Extra Magic Hours! Stay until we get in everything we want to do, or Midnight, whichever comes first. Then back to the room.

12/5: Awake and off to the Studios by 7:45am, in time for early EMH! Grab breakfast at Starring Rolls. 12:35pm lunch ADR at Sci-Fi. Stay until 5:30pm or so, then back over to the MK one last time for SpectroMagic at 7pm and Wishes at 8pm. Late dinner ADR at 9:45pm at Ohana, then back to our room for the night.

12/6: Back down to El Centro for breakfast at either Pepper Market of Rix. Then to AK in time for 9:00am opening ceremony. Stay here until closing. Off to Animal Kingdom Lodge for 6:00pm dinner ADR at Boma! Then afterwards, back to Epcot for Illuminations... which is what I always do on the last night of a trip. :cutie: Then back to the room to pack up all of our things followed by our last night of sleep at CSR.

12/7: Car loaded up and out the door in time for our 9:05am breakfast ADR at 1900 Park Fare. Then over to Downtown Disney to shop, grabbing a quick lunch. Aftwrwards, either more DTD or back to a park of our choice for a few last hours. Then over to the Beach Club for dinner ADR @ 5:35pm at the Cape May Cafe Clambake. After dinner, it's time to say goodbye to Disney World, and drive the 5 hours home.

So there ya have it, our summarized trip itinerary! The next 6 days can't go by fast enough! :goodvibes

Good thing I bought ponchos! :sad2:

And finally, this has nothing to do with Disney, but you guys know I love me some food porn. This website is fascinating to me, and I think it's absolutely hilarious: http://thisiswhyyourefat.com/ I wonder if anybody has ever sent in the Kitchen Sink from Disney World? :lmao:

I think the only time we are gonna be in the same parks is MK on the 1st we have MVMCP that night and are gonna be there earlier, and we both have 7:10 dinner ressies in Epcot on the 4th so I know what you look like so I'll be on the look-out for you just to say Hi!!!!!! I'm almost there.:wizard::wizard::banana::banana::banana::wizard:

I am glad to see your ticker is working! Not long now! :woohoo:

Whoa. Some of those pictures on that website make me want to throw up! I would never eat that kind of food packed with calories. I already know I have gallstones too so can't be too careful! Some of the stuff looks really yummy though!

Your itinerary looks great. You're really got it nailed down to the very last detail. Hope it all works out for you! I've start my trip report!!!! Not sure if you've had a chance to come see. Day 1 should be up tonight. Can't wait to hear all about your trip. It comes and goes so fast so enjoy yours to the fullest!!!! Say hi to my sister if she's your server at Le Cellier! :cutie:

LOL. When my TR goes up and you see more pictures of me, you'll realize that I'm not a calorie counter... and I have the multiple chins to prove it. :lmao: That's all going to change after the trip, though!

I'm pretty pleased with the itinerary! A small part of me worries that maybe I've overplanned? I just know that all my best Disney trips have been very structured, knowing where to be and when. I'm going to try to be flexible with it once we get there, though.... I'm worried that if we don't/can't stick to the itin for whatever reason, I might go a bit nutty. :scared:

I'm off to hunt down your TR right nowwwww! :thumbsup2

So last night when I was writing that big update, I neglected to mention that Ron told me he'd had a Disney World dream the night before. Yes. DBF is having dreams about it too. :lmao: I have been for months (and each time I intended to write about it here, but was always too busy, boooo), so that's no big deal. But I love that HE is dreaming about it!

And the dream he had was pretty amazing. I'm going to try to recreate our conversation for ya'll:

Ron: Oh, I forgot to tell you! I had a dream about Disney World last night!
Billie: Oh yeah! Really! What was it?
Ron:
Well... I dunno, like... are there fountains at the Magical Kingdom?
((Yes, he calls it the Magical Kingdom. I've given up on correcting him, and now I just find it kinda cute!))
Billie: Hmm... That's Epcot.
Ron: Oh. Well, maybe it wasn't fountains, or maybe it was in the dream, but anyhow... we were in some sort of central area in front of the castle, you know?
Billie: Oh sure, okay, I follow you.
Ron: And we were sitting there on the sidewalk watching a parade I think, there were a bunch of characters walking around.
Billie: Aww, that's awesome!
Ron: And babe... We had our 2-year-old son with us.
Billie: What?!
Ron: Yeah! He had dark hair and eyes like me, and light skin like you. And he was sitting in our laps and we were pointing out the characters to him.
Billie: Oh my god! That's... oh my god! Awwwww!
Ron: I know! I was like "Holy ****!"
Billie: Uhh... "Holy ****" bad or "Holy ****" good?
Ron: Oh, "Holy ****" good. Definitely.
:)

:lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc

Now thats what I call a dream. Maybe there is real magic in Disney I've always believed!!!!!!!pixiedust:pixiedust: We are on our way today.:banana::banana:

3 more days!!!!!!!!!!!
:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

I don't have any sort of real update other than that. I am just sooooo ready to be at Disney World! :rotfl:

:dance3::woohoo::dance3: I can't beleive it is already here. :thumbsup2
I know, huh?! I almost wish I could just hibernate for the next 3 days, wake up, and it be time to go! I'm not off from work until the 30th, though. I want the next few days to flyyyyy by!

I've had a busy weekend so far so I'm trying to catch up with your Pre-TR!!

I can't believe that dream!!!!! I will die if you come back with a rock on your finger :) How perfect would that be!!!???

Yay for 3 days!!

I have 11 to go and began to pack up some stuff tonight from Target Dollar section!

I have daydreamed myself into a tizzy about coming back with a rock on my finger, but I have resolved to keep my feet planted firmly on the ground where that's concerned. I know that he hasn't had the money to buy a ring, so I'm certain it won't be happening this trip. I'm trying to force myself not to get my hopes up anyhow! I love him with all my heart, and we're going to have an amazing trip, proposal or not. :lovestruc

Your 11 days will fly by! Sounds like you'll be leaving right about the time I get home! :goodvibes

At this time tomorrow night, Ron will be running around trying to finish packing for his flight at Midnight.

At this time in 48 hours, we'll be getting settled in at Chef Mickey's and meeting the Mouse!
