GE Employee Discount - Transferrable?

My brother-in-law works for GE. If he gets us the Universal tickets from work, can we use them at the park?

I'm concerned that either an employee badge would need to be shown at the gate, or some ID should need to match names on the tickets.

I think you're best off calling Universal directly and asking Guest Services. My gut feeling is no...you couldn't use his discount but I have no idea how that works. Call Guest Services to make sure.

A GE employee is permitted to purchase more than 1 ticket at a time. This suggests that not everyone entering the park using a GE discounted ticket actually works for them. Only that a GE employee purchased them.

The GE employee has to order them through GE Marketplace (linked from the GE Benefits page). If you elect Will Call, you have to have the credit card used for the order. If you print at home, I think you need to have everyone's name, but I'm not sure if the GE person has to be one of the named people.

There is an option to have them mailed, but it is $14. The GE discount is good enough to make that worthwhile, though. I don't know if names are required for mailed tickets - I'd have your BIL either check with GE employee benefits or contact Universal.

I just ordered some for Will Call - I used the credit card in DH's name and he will use one of the tickets, but I don't know if I really needed to do that or not.
