So I saw this on the DVC update page "Disney Vacation Club is pleased to announce the return of traditional hotel rooms at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa to the Disney Collection effective April 1, 2012"

When I go online to see if rooms are available for this tupe it does not give me the option to book those rooms jsut studio and up. Am I doing something wrong??

You have to call MS to make Disney Collection reservations.

Not for Disney Collection reservations at Disneyland Resort Hotels. There is a $95 transaction fee for most other Disney Collection reservations.
