GCV Floorplans

Haven't seen this mentioned yet, but DVCNews.com has floorplans of the GCV.

From DVCNews.com:

"As for the rest of the resort, we can confirm that there will be a total of fifty villas in the new construction. Forty-eight of them are lockoff Two Bedroom villas, while the other two are Grand Villas spanning the fourth and fifth floors of the Grand Californian. The Grand Villa floorplan IS identical to those at Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa.

The DVC Villas will actually begin on the second floor of the hotel. Their elevation should provide some spectactular views for members with all of the villas facing either Disney's California Adventure or the pool comples. The first floor of the new wing has space allocated to a new Kids Club, resort luggage storage and non-DVC guest rooms. Two levels of underground parking are also being added with the lowest to be used by valet parking attendants."

There is also a comparison of floorplans of AKV, GCV, and SSR.

I bet those Grand Villas will have some pretty fantastic views of the "World of Color" show going into Paradise Bay. If so, the demand for them could very well rival the demand of the beach cottages at Vero.

Thanks for posting this! I wonder what the points will be... You can have a DLR vacation in 5 days and feel pretty fulfilled so if they are on par with the points at other DVC rooms then I could see it being a pretty point-cheap vacation.

Interesting about the GV. I was told back in October that GCV would have some. It seems everything the guide told me was accurate.
