GCH or PP club level

We are planning a short trip to DL in the summer. We haven’t been to DL since 2009. We’re only planning 3 days and two nights. Would you prefer GCH (no club level) or PP club level? They are about the same for us with the military discount. We’re leaning towards GCH (no club level) because of the convenience and less walking in the heat and crowds. Only a few days there, so we’d rather enjoy food in the parks, than head back to PP for the club food....

In 2009, we stayed in the DLH, and I enjoy trying the different resorts, so I’d rather not repeat.

GCH all the way. One of the best reasons for us to stay there is my family loves riding Grizzly Rapids over and over again at night until they are completely soaked. The entrance inte o GCH is located next to the exit of said ride! You are back to your room and in dry clothes before you know it!
Like you posted, less walking in the heat and crowds and it is convenient. For hotel guests there, every morning until 11am I think, you can get complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate from GCH The Craftsman's Grill. (liked it better when known as Whitewater Snacks). Bring back the individual pepperoni pizza with a salad, Disney.
I think you have your mind made up. Do it! One nice thing about the GCH is you get a piece of Ghiradelli milk chocolate every night! (Unless your hubby and/or son gets to it first!)

Thank you!! This was our instinct, but I appreciate the confirmation! If we were staying longer, it wasn’t the heat of the summer and wasn’t high crowds, I may lean more the other way as ultimately it would save money on food. But in this case, we want to pack in as much DL experience as we can in a short time.

I'd do the same for the same reasons. Going back to PPH to get prepaid food that I might not even want would never motivate me to book club level.

Also, PPH club closes early - like 8 pm, I think? The one time we stayed club level there, we never made it back for the dessert.
