GCH entrance to DCA

I booked GCH totally for showing my husband the entrance from the hotel to DCA. I just found out that it is closed and there is a gate outside of the hotel. Can any one share exactly where this is? Is it better to go through DTD or through this new gate. Thanks

You are posting in the Disneyland Community section. It doesn't get as much action as the main Disneyland board. To post on the main board, go here and scroll down. Just below the page numbers and above the yellow sticky is where you would type to start a new thread. There is also a Grand California Hotel Super Thread which you might find helpful.

The second entrance has you enter DCA near Paradise Gardens. If you want to go to Disneyland or to the front of DCA, it is probably better to go through DTD and use the main gate.

In the picture below the blue X is where the entrance is being upgraded and is closed. The red line shows the entrance near Paradise Gardens. The red star is where the gate is. I'm pretty sure GCH don't have to exit the hotel and enter via the gate.
