Grand Californian Hotel… Can anyone tell me how the concierge thing works? I hear they have a lounge you can go into, but I don’t understand. Do you sign in when you enter the lounge? Do you get a pass? How do you use it? Is it on a special floor only those who have the pass can get on? I’ll take any info. Thank you.

My guess is concierge rooms work the same at Disneyland as Disney World. At WDW we've stayed at Yacht & Beach Club. There concierge level was a separate floor with a special room key for the elevator. There was a whole room with food in the morning, afternoon and evening that we could enter when we wanted and take as much food as we wanted. In the evenings there were all sorts of alcohol such as wines and sodas and dessert type drinks. It was wonderful. I'm guessing at the GCH they have a separte wing or floor set up the same way. HTH!!

It is not on a special floor, it just is a room with a special key to get in. Otherwise it is the same as any other conceirge. They have breakfast and snacks in the afternoon like peanut and jelly sandwiches. It is much better then the DLH, but still not that fantastic unless you have a lot of people and want to save money by not buying additional food.
