GCH - better to have a daybed or pull-out sofa for family of 5?

We have a 12 year old DS, 8 yo DD and 3yo DD. I want to request a room w 2 queens but not sure if it would be better/more spacious for sleeping to have the daybed or pull-out sofa? Most likely our 12 yo would be on the daybed or sofa.

The last time we were there we had bunk beds! So sad they're gone!

    Thanks for any input!

Rooms with 2 queen beds with have either a sofa (loveseat size, no fold out) or daybed, so you should request a daybed.

We just checked out yesterday. Our kids are 12, 10 and 7. We had the daybed.

It seems like the "daybed" is more than a fold down murphy bed. Which will work great for kids. For anyone wanting an adult to sleep on it, I think it could be difficult unless they are a petite adult. We have 5 in our party and have opted to stay at the DLH as the daybed is more of a twin size than the fold down at GCH.

Correct. The "Day Beds" use to be just a pull out futon-ish thing that was smaller in size than a regular mattress. Post remodel the "day beds" are now actually a couch that folds down into an actual twin bed kinda like murphy bed. They are pretty slick.

Twin and Full size beds are 75" long vs a queen or king which is 80"

There are about 300 rooms with those

This is what we had. Our couch folded down into a daybed which IMHO was comparable in size to a twin bed.

Do you have the dimensions of the fold down/murphy bed?

It is an actual legit twin size mattress...and those are 38"x75"

Why do they seem smaller, I guess it’s just me.
