GC rooms--which is better, suite or 2 adjoining rooms?

We're headed to DL at the end of the month and staying at the GC! We can stay in a one-bedroom suite with concierge services for three nights, or in two standards rooms (adjoining, hopefully, not guaranteed) for three nights. The price difference is $750 less for the two standard rooms. Is the concierge service and a better view (the esplanade versus open placement) worth the $250/night extra? Does anyone know if the suites are much better than two standard rooms? We'll get an extra bathroom if we have two rooms...

I'm a bit concerned about what happens if the rooms aren't adjoining, but I guess then we will just take the one room and survive. Has anyone asked for adjoining rooms before and NOT gotten them?

I don't know how much help I'll be as we have never seen a suite at the GC.
Personally I think I would opt for the two rooms, the extra bathroom and the money saved would be of more value to me than the concierge level. We don't generally spend much time in the hotel though - some people swear by the concierge rooms and I'm sure their opinion would be different.
We have always gotten adjoining rooms when we requested them even though they are not guaranteed.
Good luck deciding

I've done concierge at the DLH several times, and really liked it, but I don't believe it's worth that much money.

:D Thanks for the advice. We'll go for the two rooms and use the savings (if you can call spending $1200 for three nights a "savings" ;) ) for the park hoppers and dining. Some day when we have money to spend, we'll splurge on the suites!
