Hi All,

We are staying at the GCH on DVC points next month. We have a standard room reserved. Are there any rooms/areas of the hotel I might request to stay in?

I realize requests are just that, requests. Any reccomedations? For a nice quiet room? Is there a courtyard so we don't look at a parking lot?

Thanks:)

.

We are just back from a stay in a standard room. We were in 5162, 2Q beds with a courtyard/monorail view. It was a bit of a hike from the elevator though in case that bothers you. We liked it though. We also had excellent mousekeeping.

Just got off the phone with a GC CM and he told me that conceige would be 172.50 per night//they had added an afternoon tea. From what I understand it was $150.00.

Jackpirate:

NO rooms look on a parking lot as the parking structure is not near the building. You can request a park view though and those rooms look onto CA Adventure. You could have a room looking onto Downtown Disney also.

Those rooms wouldn't be considered standard rooms, however. But, you might as well ask because sometimes they will give an upgrade.

I agree with just bringing up an upgrade with a DTD view or DCA view. Doesn't hurt to ask! :) We got a free upgrade (didn't even ask) in July at the DLH with a pool view. It's not expected, but it's nice when they do that! :)

Um, Jack, is this the rate for a night at the GC (concierge at that???) This can't be right?? If it is right, when are you going? Because we are paying over double that!!

Yes, this must be a mistake. Even in cheap season, I don't think you can get a standard room (not even concierge) for under $300-$350/night.

Pretty sure he meant to add conceirge on to his room.
